Lasara Lions celebrated Homecoming with its second annual bonfire on October 17th. Alysha Tamez and Manuel Hernandez were crowned Homecoming Queen and King by the junior high students. Hannah Wetegrove was chosen by the football players as Football Sweetheart and the cheerleaders chose Manuel Hernandez as their Cheerleader Beau . As the fire raged on, the cheerleaders and the band cheered the team to victory. The following day, the Lasara Lion football team beat Harvest Christian with a final score of 40-6 making their season record 6-0. WAY TO GO, LIONS!!!
