SCIENCE IS EVERYWHERE

Students in Pre-Kinder are very excited. They just finished a Thematic Unit Titled:“Science is Every Where”.During this unit, they learned about the “BRAIN”,they learned that our brain is like a filing cabinet it files everything we see, hear, touch, taste and smell…The five senses are our buddies they help us gatherinformation. They also learned about different Life Cycles(like The Human life cycle, the Butterfly life cycle and the Frog life cycle). During the life cycle about the frog we read many books that taught us BIG / l o n g words like amphibian, vertebrate, bulging, slimy,it was amusing to find out that even thou Metamorphosisis such a long word it really just means change. Do you know what a herpetologist is? They learned to use a Venn-diagramto comparea Frog and a Toad. And they also learn how to combine colors to make other colors (yellowand redmake orange,blueand yellowmake green). It’s true we do experience Science everyday because; Science is Every Where.
