Welcome to the Jr. High Social Studies program. The 6th grade social studies program will take 6th graders all over the planet. We will learn about countries in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America. The 7th graders will learn more about the cultures and history of the great state of Texas. 8th graders will learn about the history of the United States and prepare for the state TAKS exam. Take a look at the related sites link below: Use the Interactive Tutor for each chapter and unit. There is a quiz for each chapter and a chapter overview which are quite helpful. 8th graders should practice on the online TAKS test. Use the Succeeding on TAKS computer program when you go to the computer lab on Fridays. |
