Welcome to 2nd Grade

It is the beginning of a new year and I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you and your child to my class. I am looking forward to working with you and your children.
I have worked for the Lasara school district for 6 years. I have been teaching 2nd grade for three years now. I have been married for 20 years to Carlos Martinez and have 4 wonderful children Mikaela, Mikeal, Madeline and Carlitos. I truly enjoy my job.
In my classroom your child will have the opportunity to be the best he or she can possibly be. I will challenge, encourage, and guide, your child to reach their full potential.
As we embark on this journey of learning I hope that your child will have a wonderful experience in 2nd grade.
