Pioneer High School Virtual Meet

This past Saturday, 2/12/22, our students showed up to represent Lasara High School at the Pioneer High School Virtual Meet.  While there weren't any speaking events, the students did compete in a variety of other events.  The results are as follows:

Current Events: Novice-Matthew Tamez 2nd 

Feature Writing: Novice-Ceinwynn Oerther 1st, Veteran-Victoria Velazquez 2nd

Literary Criticism: Veteran-Elliana Chapa 3rd

News Writing: Novice-Ceinwynn Werther 1st, Veteran-Victoria Velazquez 1st

Social Studies: Novice Matthew Tamez 5th, Isaac Garza 8th

Editorial Writing: Novice-Marcus Barco 2nd 

Headline Writing: Novice-Ximena Ventura 1st, Veteran-Jazmine Flores 3rd
