Lasara ISD is proud to announce our 4th Annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament, taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. What began as a simple idea has quickly grown into a meaningful tradition that directly impacts the lives of our graduating seniors.
The purpose of this tournament is simple but powerful — to raise scholarship funds for our seniors after they graduate. To date, this event has helped us award nearly $80,000 in scholarships to our very deserving Lasara graduates. Because of the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, and community partners, we have been able to provide $1,000 scholarships to students as they take their next steps toward college, trade school, military service, or career pathways.
Our graduates are hardworking, determined, and committed to becoming successful members of our community. Many are first-generation college students with big dreams and strong work ethics. A $1,000 scholarship may seem small to some, but for our seniors, it can help cover tuition, books, housing, certification exams, or other essential expenses as they transition into this next chapter of their educational journey.
We want to continue what is quickly becoming one of Lasara ISD’s most meaningful traditions — investing directly in our students’ futures.
