Beginning this school year, all students in Grades 3–12 are required to use a fully clear backpack. The countdown to a new school year begins! The first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2026. Please note that the 2026–2027 school calendar is pending Board approval. Stay tuned for the official calendar and additional back-to-school information. Please note that Lasara ISD District Offices will be closed for Summer Break from June 29th through July 14th. Our offices will reopen on Wednesday, July 15th. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer! ☀️

Lasara ISD is providing parents and guardians of children who are new to the district an opportunity to register their child for Pre-K for the upcoming school year. Registration will take place June 15–18 at Lasara Elementary. To help make the process as smooth as possible, parents are encouraged to call the front office before arriving so that any necessary paperwork can be prepared in advance. As a special welcome, registered children will receive a Lasara ISD t-shirt while supplies last. We look forward to welcoming our future Lions and partnering with families as they begin their educational journey at Lasara ISD! 🦁

We’re excited for our students who will be participating in the Texas Southmost College (TSC) Summer Program! This is a friendly reminder to all participating students to take note of your assigned start date and arrive by 8:00am each day to enjoy breakfast before activities begin. Attention Parents: Lasara ISD will be hosting Free Sports Physicals for student-athletes on Friday, May 29, 2026, beginning at 8:00am in the Lasara ISD Nursing Classroom. Students with outdated sports physicals will be contacted directly. Any student needing a physical must have all required paperwork completed, signed, and turned in before Friday. Parents may contact the front office to have paperwork sent home.
