We’re excited to welcome our wonderful grandparents on Monday, September 14th, from 7:30–8:00am to celebrate with our Lions! 🦁 Please review the Grandparents’ Day Parking Map before arriving. Grandparent parking is highlighted in yellow, while teachers and staff will park in the designated red area behind the school. We look forward to celebrating this special morning with our Lion families!

Effective Monday, September 14th, all students enrolled in RPEP first period will need to follow the updated morning procedures. Breakfast will be available beginning at 7:15 a.m. Students must pick up their breakfast directly from the cafeteria staff and plan accordingly so they are ready to leave at their designated departure time. Please make the necessary arrangements to arrive early enough to pick up and eat your breakfast. All students must be ready to depart on time. Departure Times: * La Villa & Santa Rosa: 7:20am * San Perlita: 7:25am * Lyford: 7:30am

Willacy County school districts came together at the Willacy County Commissioners Court to celebrate and recognize the importance of GEAR UP by approving a proclamation declaring September 21–25, 2026, as GEAR UP Week in Willacy County. Representatives from Lasara ISD, Lyford ISD, Raymondville ISD, and San Perlita ISD were all in attendance to show their support and commitment to helping students prepare for college, careers, and future success. The proclamation highlights the collaborative efforts of Willacy County schools and the importance of providing students with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to achieve their goals. 🎉

These deadlines help ensure students have enough time to enjoy their lunch and return to class on time, ready to learn!
