If you’re interested in serving as a substitute teacher for the upcoming school year, all substitutes—including those who have previously substituted for Lasara ISD—must submit a Letter of Intent to Ms. Raquel Ventura via email. The countdown to a new school year begins! The first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2026. Please note that the 2026–2027 school calendar is pending Board approval. Stay tuned for the official calendar and additional back-to-school information. Lasara ISD is providing parents and guardians of children who are new to the district an opportunity to register their child for Pre-K for the upcoming school year. Registration will take place June 15–18 at Lasara Elementary. To help make the process as smooth as possible, parents are encouraged to call the front office before arriving so that any necessary paperwork can be prepared in advance. As a special welcome, registered children will receive a Lasara ISD t-shirt while supplies last. We look forward to welcoming our future Lions and partnering with families as they begin their educational journey at Lasara ISD! 🦁

We’re excited for our students who will be participating in the Texas Southmost College (TSC) Summer Program! This is a friendly reminder to all participating students to take note of your assigned start date and arrive by 8:00am each day to enjoy breakfast before activities begin.
